Step 1: Sign Up

• Initially, visit the official website of Chief Electoral Office, Delhi.
• You need to create a new username and password in order to sign up at the official website.

• As you are a new user, you need to hit on New User Registration.

Step 2: Fill the Form

• You will be then redirected to a new web page where you can see an application form.
• Fill in all your details in the application form.
• After entering all the details, you will receive an OTP via your registered mobile number,
• Enter the OTP in the application form and click on Create User.

Step 3: Documents to be uploaded

• You need to upload few documents that includes:
• Scanned copy of your Photo
• Address Proof
• Age Proof

Step 4: Submission

• After uploading the required documents, just recheck whether you've given correct details or not.
• Then hit on the Submit button.
• You'll get an application ID which must be preserved for knowing the status of your voter id.

Step 5: Verification

• After completing the registration process for the new voter id card, a Booth Level officer will be visiting your residence for verification.
• The officer will check all the details and confirms that you're actually residing in the locality as mentioned in the form.

How to Apply for a New Voter ID Card in Delhi [OFFLINE]

Here are some steps to apply for a new voter id card in Delhi via offline process.

• Firstly, visit a nearest electoral office and ask for Form 6 application form which is a form for applying new voter id.
• Fill the form completely and correctly.
• Attach a copy of your address proof and age proof along with the application form.
• Submit the form and documents at the electoral office. The officer will confirm your address and other details mentioned in the form.
• Later, an officer visits your house for verification.
• Upon ensuring the details in the form are correct, you'll be issued a new voter id card.
• Within a month, you will receive your new voter id card to your address.
